The Delegates are a rock and roll band from Montreal, Canada. One day they made a record about a fish and some other stuff. Turns out, when you make a record, its not as easy as one may think, to get it out there for people to hear. If you want to get it out the normal way, where you try and collect money for each copy that gets sold, there will be many people who insist you need them to help collect the money. People in suits will ask you to sign papers and there will be a whole bunch of rules about a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with why you made a record in the first place. Sometimes someone will come along, who wears converse shoes instead of loafers to work. Does this mean that they actually give a damn about music? maybe. Maybe not. The bottom line is - who cares? The only way to ensure something happens is to do it yourself, and don't stop doing it until you are happy. The delegates made an album by themselves. For some reason it is impossible to get my hands on a copy. Many people have told me the same thing. So in the true spirit of independent music and fierce do-it-yourself philosophy, I have taken the liberty of putting this album, in its entirety, right here for your downloading enjoyment. Fight back. I have a feeling that the Delegates will be thankful for your help.
